aimed at improving the protection of geographical indications (GIs) for wine, spirit drinks and agricultural products<\/p>\n<p>In particular, this new text will make it possible to\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ensure protection of GIs both offline and online, with the implementation of a domain name information and alert system for domain names that contain geographical indications;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 strengthen the rights of producers with regard to the management of their geographical indications;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 simplify and speed up the registration procedure;<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 ensure protection of a GI name designating an ingredient.<\/p>\n<p>The regulation will shortly be published in the Official
