EUROPEAN INVENTOR AWARD 2024
By way of background, the European Inventor Award, created in 2006 by the European Patent Office (EPO), is intended to reward the creativity of inventors each year in various categories including: industry, research, non-EPO countries, and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition to these categories, there is also a Lifetime Achievement Award.
The EPO has just announced the names of the twelve 2024 finalists, who are poised to bring honour to their home countries which this year include France, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Poland, Sweden, Brazil, Japan and the United States.
The names of the winners will be revealed on 9 July 2024 in Malta.
