PATENT PROSECUTION HIGHWAY – PPH AGREEMENT BETWEEN MOROCCO AND FRANCE
On November 1, 2023, the “Patent Prosecution Highway – PPH” agreement signed between the Institut national de la propriété industrielle (INPI) and the Office Marocain de la Propriété Industrielle et Commerciale (OMPIC) will come into force.
This agreement, which aims to speed up the granting of patents between the two countries, is the seventh signed by INPI, following those already in force with the Japanese Patent Office (JPO), the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO), the Brazilian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) and the Chinese National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) – (Source INPI)
