Trademark – madrid and jamaica protocol

On March 27, 2022, the Madrid Protocol entered into force for Jamaica. This accession now allows economic operators to apply for registration in this territory through the Madrid System, which currently includes 126 countries. The Madrid System offers a simplified, centralized and low-cost procedure for the protection of a trademark in many markets.
