WORLD INNOVATION INDEX 2023 – FRANCE ALMOST IN THE TOP 10

The 16th edition of the World Innovation Index – the « global reference for measuring a country’s innovation performance » – has just been published by the World Intellectual Property Organization, in partnership with the Portulans Institute, private partners and a network of universities (Source: WIPO).

This year, France has moved closer to the top 10 of the most innovative economies (over 130 economies are in the running), ranking 11th, one place higher than in the 2022 ranking.

The podium in this 2023 ranking goes to Switzerland, which has maintained its leading position for 13 years now, ahead of Sweden 2nd (3rd in 2022) and the USA 3rd (2nd in 2022).
